Dr. Adrian DiVittorio recently performed his 100th robotic-assisted bronchoscopy procedure at Mobile Infirmary using the Ion endoluminal system by Intuitive. Together, physicians at Mobile Infirmary have performed more than 150 procedures using the system.
This advanced technology enables physicians like Dr. DiVittorio to reach nodules far into the lung, providing them stability and precision needed for more accurate lung biopsies. Mobile Infirmary was the first hospital in Gulf Coast Region to acquire the Ion endoluminal system.
