Making Rounds on Fox 10 News: 15th Annual RIDEYELLOW Charity Bike Ride

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, which means it's time for the 15th annual RIDEYELLOW charity bike ride in Bay Minette. Devin Clarke, manager of fitness and cardiac rehabilitation at North Baldwin Infirmary Fitness Center, and Melissa McNichol, executive director of Rapahope, discussed the fundraiser during FOX10's Making Rounds segment.

"Since the beginning, we've been able to raise over $573,000 for cancer charities," said Clarke. "In a little over 10 years, we've been donating to Rapahope, so we're thankful to be able to keep doing that."

The ride, sponsored in part by North Baldwin Infirmary, happens on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023. The event begins at Halliday Park with a six-mile tribute ride, after which, riders can choose to continue by pedaling the 20-, 37- or 62-mile route at their leisure.

All money raised benefits Rapahope, a non-profit organization that offers free, year-round programming, including a flagship summer camp, as well as weekend and day-long opportunities for families and siblings to have fun together.
